Minerva Teichert | First Plowing | Semi-gloss print
Fine art print on paper by Western artist Minerva Teichert
"First Plowing"
Features two men planting crops in the newly settled Mountain West
Born in 1888, Minerva Teichert looked fondly on the agricultural lifestyle that sustained her family, and featured cattle and horses prominently in her work. The wife of a Wyoming cowboy, Teichert tended to a garden, chickens and children while intermittently finding time to paint. A grandson recalled the prolific artist's busy household being equal parts food and paint, and the paintings being better than the food.
These dimensions represent the size of the image on each print, and will include a minimum of 1/4 inch white paper border for easier matting and framing. You or your framer may trim the excess if desired. Some prints include text related to the printing process on these borders that would not be visible after matting or framing.
We've discontinued semi-gloss prints and will ship available inventory within 3 business days. Check out our Minerva Teichert prints on matte paper for the largest selection of artwork and sizes.
